Society Strength Organization (SSO) is an independent, non-profit, community-based humanitarian organization operating in Somalia. We are committed to humanitarian principles, human rights, community resilience and the protection of vulnerable populations affected by conflict, displacement, poverty and humanitarian crises.
We give particular attention to internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, refugees, children, families and other vulnerable groups. Our work combines immediate humanitarian assistance with longer-term, community-centred solutions that promote dignity, resilience, self-reliance and sustainable recovery.
